We couldn't wait to share this one. Sparky climbs the Joburg skyline — Ponte Tower, Carlton Centre, Hillbrow Tower, Northcliff Ridge — answering times tables to keep the energy flowing. It's fast, it's fun, and it's live right as we open our doors. Built for Grades 1–4, every times table from ×2 to ×12.

It started around a kitchen table in a South African home.
Our founder (Aanisah Chothia) is a teacher and a mom, married to a systems thinker (Suliman Chothia). Neither of them followed the 'perfect learner' path — but that turned out to be their superpower.
"Struggling doesn't mean you can't learn. It often means no one has shown you how yet."
When games entered the lesson, everything changed.
Learning didn't just happen — it ignited.
Then came online learning. At home, they watched their own children drawn to screens — not for learning, but for entertainment. And when they went looking for something better?
There was a gap. A big one. And that gap became an opportunity.
Instead of fighting screen time… what if we transformed it?
Instead of forcing learning… what if children wanted it?
Spark was built on a powerful idea:
The same energy that pulls children into games can pull them into learning.
So we brought together:
A platform built in South Africa, for South African learners.
Because when the right method meets the right moment — that's when the spark happens.
